The first product of the brand to land in Europe is the U5, a medium-sized battery-powered SUV: 4.58 meters long, has a wheelbase of 2.8 meters – synonymous with good interior space – and a trunk with a volumetry that oscillates. between 432 and 1,555 liters.

The bodywork hides an electric mechanics with a 204 HP maximum power engine, connected to an accumulator that allows you to travel 400 km with a “full” of electrons and can be recharged from 20% to 80% in 35 minutes, using charging columns. 90 kW. The prices of the Aiways U5 range from 42,750 euros for the ‘X-Cite’ set-up to 45,500 euros for the ‘Prime’ variant. Each is guaranteed for 5 years or 150,000 kilometers (8 years of coverage on the battery pack).

Contents that, most likely, will be confirmed on the Aiways U6, making its debut in 2022. Here the features are those of a 473 cm long SUV coupé with a sporty look. The layout is reminiscent of famous models, such as the BMW X4, and makes the curvilinear roof a distinctive feature.
