Take the quality / price ratio of a Dacia, add the load capacity of a station wagon, the interior spaciousness of a minivan, a “handful of SUVs” and voila, here is the new Jogger. Which is not easily framed within the conventional segments, on the contrary it touches many of them while remaining faithful to the mission of the Romanian brand: to propose quality models that are economically accessible to all. Formula that made the fortune of the brand, owned by the Renault group. And it is precisely from the house of the lozenge that the construction platform (Cmf-B) and engines arrive, shared with the latest generation of the Clio.
The Jogger will be available in a 5 or 7-seat configuration, will arrive on the market in February 2022 and will simultaneously retire the Lodgy and the Dokker, similar in layout and intent. 4.55 meters long, it boasts a truly high load capacity: in the 5-seater configuration the compartment has a useful volume of 708 liters, 160 in the seven-liter variant and 1,819 liters by folding down the second and third row seats. In addition, the luggage compartment is equipped with elastic straps, four anchor points and a 12V socket.

Three different multimedia systems can be installed on the dashboard: the “Media Control”, which can work together with the smartphone, the “Media Display” with 8 ”touchscreen and the more sophisticated“ Media Nav ”, complete with GPS. To the standard equipment, complete with Bluetooth, USB and steering wheel controls, you can add heated front seats, automatic climate control, electronic key, electric parking brake, rear view camera, blind spot monitor, parking assistance system and cruise control.

We come to the engines: we start with a 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 110 HP and 200 Nm of torque. Then will come the bi-fuel ECO-G 100 HP petrol / LPG. In 2023, however, it will be the turn of the hybrid version, which will combine a 1.6-liter thermal unit with two electric motors, for a power of approximately 140 hp. Prices for the Italian market are yet to be defined.
