The three claw marks on the headlight of the PM-01 leave no doubts, the Peugeot presented at Eicma 2022 which marks the return to the production of two-wheeled motorcycles. But always based on flexibility, for city and outdoor use. The displacements are 125 and 300, LED headlights, essential style and square line in the cuts of the light, the radiator and the 12.5 liter tank.
The 125 engine develops 14 horsepower at 9,500 rpm, with a torque of 11 Nm at 7,500 rpm; the 300 offers 29 horsepower at 9,000 rpm with a torque of 24.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Both engines are six-speed. Average numbers, but the surprise is in the weight: 152 kilos for the 12 cc and 162 for the 300. With a full tank. The dual ABS brakes feature a front and rear disc installed on 17-inch wheels. The headlights are LED and the dashboard has a Tft display. The bike will be available at the end of the first quarter of 2023, the price has not yet been communicated.

The Casa del Leone also took advantage of the Milan show to present the XP400, a top-of-the-range scooter to also appeal to the tastes of those who want comfortable mobility in the city, but also the possibility of traveling for trips of a few hundred kilometres. And here, the reference to the king of the forest is double: the front LED daytime running lights are reminiscent of a lion’s fangs and the rear ones bear the imprint of three claws. The 400 cc PowerMotion engine has a power of 36.7 horsepower at 8150 and a torque of 38.1 Nm at 5400 rpm. Braking is entrusted to two front discs and one rear, with double ABS. The instrumentation consists of a 5-inch TFT display. Speaking of comfort, the XP400 has a windscreen, a smiley, a USB socket and a two-seater saddle that hides a compartment where you can place a full-face helmet. The weight is 231 kilos. The GT version also offers a smoked windscreen.

Peugeot took advantage of the occasion of Eicma 2022 to also present the Evo version of Django, a model in the price list since 2014. There are two versions, one air-cooled and the other liquid-cooled. To differentiate them in the external appearance there is the painting of the internal front shield in a different color for the model with radiator. The air-cooled 125 scooter has a 10.6 horsepower engine at 7,000 rpm and a torque of 9.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Braking is entrusted to a front and rear disc brake, with single-channel ABS. The weight is 134 kilos, with a ground clearance of 778 millimetres, with a two-seater seat (underneath there is a jet helmet). The dashboard consists of an LCD screen, which also incorporates a USB socket. The tank has a capacity of 7.2 litres.

The liquid-cooled version is offered in two displacements: the 124.8 cc with a power of 12.9 horsepower at 8,500 rpm, with a torque of 12 Nm at 6,500 rpm; the 149.6 cc with a power of 14.4 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and a torque of 12.4 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The dashboard is always LCD, but there is also the smartkey, which allows you to start the engine, open the underseat compartment and the glove compartment, also equipped with lighting. The entire new range will be available from the third quarter of 2023, prices are not yet known.
