Ferrari releases the first official images of its new limited edition racing car, built on the basis of the 812 Superfast: the complete technical characteristics and the definitive name of the car will be unveiled during a world launch event, which will be broadcast live on the Maranello’s social media channels on May 5, at 2.30 pm. This is the more extreme front-engined berlinetta never developed by Cavallino, “dedicated to a small group of collectors passionate and refined connoisseurs of the history of the brand ”, let Ferrari know.
Pushing it is the latest evolution of the immense engine V12 naturally aspirated, capable of a maximum power of 830 HP and reaching a maximum speed of 9500 rpm: two records among the thermal engines produced by the Prancing Horse. The V12 boasts, among the many dedicated technical features, a new valve timing system and a brand new exhaust terminal.

Curated aerodynamics, designed to guarantee a high vertical load and, at the same time, blend in a sublime way with the design of the berlinetta. An example of all this is the rear window with monolithic aluminum structure, which integrates a series of vortex generators, and the rear spoiler, with a racing look.

While the driving dynamics benefit from a sophisticated independent four-wheel steering system, “capable of increasing the sensation of agility and precision when entering corners, as well as ensuring unparalleled rapid response to commands”, promise from Maranello. And it is to be believed.

Extensive use was made of the carbon fiber, both externally and internally. Finally, the driving dynamics control electronics evolve further, with the introduction of version 7.0 of the Side Slip Control. (OAE)
