Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, the continuous evolution of the Emilian berlinetta

Lamborghini adds another piece to the Huracan range with a
new version called Tecnica. However, it is not just one
unprecedented combination of well-known elements, but also an update
of the car from different points of view. Conceptually it arises in the middle
road between the RWD and the specialist STO: excellent for the track, therefore,
but also suitable for use on the road. Under the rear hood there is
the well-known 5.2-liter V10 in the same configuration as the STO: 640 hp
that scream up to over 8,000 rpm, pushing the Emilian berlinetta
up to 325 km / h, causing it to sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds and
from 0 to 200 km / h in 9.1 seconds. The other first fruits of the Technique is the
rear wheel steering system, which allows you to increase the
stability or agility depending on the situation.


Furthermore, this system works differentially and in concert with
stability control, depending on whether the pilot has
street, sport, or race mode selected. With a weight a
dry weight of only 1,379 kg, therefore, the power-to-weight ratio is only
2.15 kg / CV. But numbers aside, the heart of this Huracán is the
LDVI system (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata), which controls
integrating every aspect of the car’s dynamic behavior
systems and configurations to ensure a pre-check in logic
“Feed-forward” substantially in real time, to ensure a
perfect driving dynamics. The brake cooling also has a
new management derived from the racing world: carbon ceramic discs
they exploit ducts of the calipers and cooling deflectors
specific to maximize heat dissipation.


Finally the design, which has been revisited by defining a more character
decided. The bumper borrows from the Y design of the Third Millennium
integrating an air curtain for the first time and the hood is made of fiber
carbon while the splitter has open and lower lamellae than
convey the air through the wheels. Length increased by
6.1 cm, with a silhouette inspired by the lines of the crystals in style
daylight opening of the SCV12 Essence. At the rear, finally, they stand out
the new vertical rear window and the redesigned bumper with diffuser
integrated and hexagonal tailpipes. Cherry on the cake
is the fixed rear spoiler that increases downforce by 35%
while reducing aerodynamic drag by 20%.
