Less than a month to go before the release of the new James Bond film, the 25th and the last one with Daniel Craig in the role of 007, and Land Rover wanted to celebrate it with a new car inspired by this last chapter of the saga on the secret agent in the service of Her Majesty.
The SV Bespoke section of the English brand, which has always been closely linked to the agent born from the pen of Ian Fleming, has worked on the new Defender V8 Bond Edition to celebrate ‘No Time to Die’, out on September 30th. Available in 90 and 110 versions and inspired by the specifications of the Defenders featured in the film, the stealth Defender V8 Bond Edition sports an Extended Black Pack, 22 “Luna Gloss Black wheels, Xenon Blue front brake calipers and a ‘Defender 007’ rear badge.
Personalization also extends to the interior, with ‘007’ illuminated door sills and a special Pivi Pro infotainment boot animation that pays homage to the longstanding partnership with the James Bond franchise. And in the evening, the ground lighting lights will also show the ‘007’ graphic.
On the engine front, the Defender Bond Edition is equipped with a 5.0-liter Supercharged petrol engine that delivers 525 hp with 624 Nm of torque, and with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Defender V8 90 accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.2 seconds and reaches 240 km / h: dynamics and speed are accentuated thanks to the special calibration of the suspension and transmission, with the Electronic Active Rear Differential, the electronic pneumatics, which make it more agile and manageable.
