Motor Valley Fest 2022 starts tomorrow, all there is to see

There are just a few hours left for the opening of the fourth edition of the Motor Valley Fest, a real festival dedicated to Italian motoring excellence: the event will take place in Modena, from 26 to 29 May. Many initiatives – exhibitions, such as dedicated to Gilles Villeneuve at the Mabic library in Maranello, exhibitions, guided tours of historic sites, such as the Bugatti in Campogalliano – and the conferences organized for this four days. The inaugural workshop, moreover, will see the presence of illustrious representatives of the most prestigious manufacturers in the world: Claudio Domenicali of Ducati will be present on the stage of the Pavarotti Theater in Modena, Horacio Pagani of the homonymous hypercar company in San Cesario sul Panaro, from Enrico Galliera, Ferrari’s sales manager, to Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini’s number one.

“A four days full of fun and culture, in the most dynamic automotive district in the world and with the highest concentration of car and motorcycle manufacturers, racetracks, museums and collectors and who can’t wait to welcome all fans back to a new and sparkling edition ”, explain the organizers. The Automotoclub Storico Italiano, ASI, will be present with its flagship event “ASI MotoShow”, which for twenty years has brought the history of motorcycles to the track at the Varano de ‘Melegari racetrack, also a symbol of the Motor Valley. Exceptional testimonial of the ASI event is the 1974 Yamaha TZ 750, a former official motorcycle of the racing department used by Giacomo Agostini, who with her won the 200 Miles of Daytona and Imola in the season of his debut with the colors of the Japanese manufacturer. . It will be exhibited in the Motor Valley Village set up in the Cortile d’Onore of Palazzo Ducale, home of the Military Academy.

In the same location it will be possible to admire the exhibition of historic cars selected by the Circolo della Biella, the prestigious ASI federated club based in Modena: the “racing” Jaguar E-Type from 1964, Tecno Formula 850 from 1970 and Maserati MC8 Gransport will be exhibited. Laboratory of 2006; the “institutional” Lancia Aurelia B20 of 1955 and Ferrari 250 GTE of 1963; the “convivial” Fiat 500 C Giardiniera of 1951 and Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Spider of 1990. “The same Club is the promoter of another initiative scheduled for Saturday 27 May when, at 5.30 pm, a parade of cars and historic motorcycles which, after passing through the historic center of the city, will end at the Enzo Ferrari Park under the famous turret, an indelible trace of what was once the famous Modena Aerautodrome “, reads an official note:” The evening will end with the screening of the docufilm “The little Indianapolis.
