The last jewel of Pagani is called Huayra Codalunga and it is a very limited series – just 5 copies will be built – destined for some wealthy collectors, who participated in the very ideation of the project. Price? 7 (seven) million euros!
The car was developed by the “Grand Complications” department of the manufacturer from San Cesario sul Panaro, a division that creates the most exclusive Pagans of all. The long tail is a stylistic and technical tribute to the racing cars that participated in the endurance races of the sixties and seventies: the third volume, so important, optimizes aerodynamics, which also benefits from active flaps on the nose and tail.
To give life to the Codalunga, careful planning was needed, which began in 2018: under the rear engine hood, which is 36 cm longer than that of the Huayra, there is an AMG twin-turbo V12, capable of 840 hp of maximum power and 1,100 Nm. of drive torque.
The same roars through a titanium-coated exhaust system with ceramic coating. The cavalry is called upon to push a weight of just 1,290 kg (60 kg less than the traditional Huayra), obtained thanks to the extensive use of composite materials.
