Is called Cinturato All Season SF2, the new signed tire Pirelli and presented to the press today: designed to best face all seasons, it allows you to comply with winter regulations as well. Its main peculiarity is the original “Adaptive tread” – a specific combination of compound and tread pattern itself – which according to the manufacturer maximizes driving safety and versatility of use.
This tire is also available in “Runflat” version: it means that, in the event of a puncture, it is possible to continue traveling for several kilometers and reach a tire dealer in complete serenity, without having to stop to fit the spare wheel. Cinturato All Season SF2 is available in 65 sizes, between 15 and 20 inches.
Note the symbols on the shoulder of the rubber M + S accompanied by the 3PMSF (Three-Peak-Mountain with Snowflake: the symbol of a snowflake inserted in a stylized mountain with three peaks) marking which indicate how the tire guarantees good performance even at low temperatures. This is a solution suitable for those who use the car mainly in the city, live in non-Alpine regions and with temperatures typical of temperate climates, reaching distances of the order of 25,000 km per year.
“Compared to the previous Cinturato All Season Plus tire, they improve braking on dry and wet surfaces, reducing respectively by 3.5 meters and about 2 meters”, they say from Pirelli. Furthermore, the mileage is 50% compared to the previous Cinturato All Season Plus. Finally, the lowest rolling resistance allows lower fuel consumption. From the comparison tests carried out by Dekra – a German company that deals with testing, inspection and certification, particularly in the automotive sector – the Cinturato All Season SF2 was found to be the quietest tire in its segment, with minimal noise emissions.
