Sixt opens a lounge at Malpensa airport reserved for a select few

“Today – declares Massimiliano Maini, Vice President & Managing Director of SIXT Italia – true luxury is being able to carve out moments of relaxation”. It is a sacrosanct truth and, for this reason, the German rental company specialized in premium services, which operates in over 100 countries around the world, has inaugurated a lounge in Terminal 1 of Malpensa airport. It is a business space – which is in addition to those already operational in the airports of Venice, Florence, Olbia, Rome and Naples – where it is possible to rest before or after a flight or even stay and work in a reserved environment. It features armchairs and Wi-Fi stations and a bar area that provides hot and cold drinks. From here it is also possible to rent a car with a priority access service by accessing a selection of premium models always available in a dedicated parking lot a few steps away.

It is free but not everyone can use it: it is necessary to be in possession of the Diamond Card which is assigned at the discretion of Sixt to its top customers. The card also entitles you to other benefits such as special discounts, automatic upgrades to a vehicle class higher than the one you intend to rent and also a higher status in the loyalty programs of Sixt partners such as airlines and hotels.
