What happens if a scooter collides with a car? Do you need to wear a helmet? The German safety body in the automotive sector FKA tried to answer these questions by carrying out a crash test with an electric scooter launched at 25 km / h against a car. Three different situations experienced with the use of a manikin show the impact and damage caused by the vehicles, but not those to the face and body since the manikin was devoid of sensors and for this reason the test cannot be used as a basis for subsequent simulations.
