The Vespa turns 75: at the Piaggio Museum an exhibition dedicated to the symbol of the Dolce Vita

Happy birthday Vespa: on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the birth of the iconic two-wheeled vehicle, symbol of the Italian “Dolce Vita”, the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera has decided to dedicate an exhibition to it that tells its story.


“Vespitate yourselves. 75 years of successes and restarts “can be visited until 30 September and collects a colorful display of over 200 images that celebrate the spirit of” Vespizzatevi “, the slogan with which the Vespa became famous all over the world and still relevant today. The material, photos and advertising campaigns, comes from the very rich and largely unpublished material of the Piaggio Historical Archive, and is organized into six thematic sections, each of which houses a particularly representative Vespa model.

Exceptional guests, the brand new Vespa 75th special series, created to celebrate the important birthday and available for the Vespa Primavera and Vespa GTS limited to 2021, and the luminous work created by the artist Marco Lodola, “Vespa 75”, piece unique in perspex and neon made for the occasion.
